The Serpent Lights the Way: II

This is both a functional sconce and handmade sculpture.

The base is found wooden sculpture that I adhered Bible pages to, specifically from Genesis. I glazed and coated them in dragon’s blood ink. I then made clay snakes with red beaded eyes and painted them gold.

I recommend using an electric candle with this. you are welcome to try a real wax candle at your own risk. If ordered to ship it will be sent without a candle but the glass holder will be in place.

I am offering this sconce/sculpture alone for $444, but if you’d like to purchase it with its counterpart (The Serpent Lights the Way: I), I can offer them both for $777 total.

Please allow ample time for packing and shipping and handle with card, as these are clay sculptures and are fragile. They are well-adhered and sturdy, but clay is clay.
